Abstract
The suxual a system of organs within an organism which work together for the purpose of reproduction. The primary reproductive organs, or gonads, consist of the ovaries and testes. These organs are responsible for producing the egg and sperm cells, (gametes), and for producing hormones. These hormones function in the maturation of the reproductive system. The female organs are made up of the vulva, the vagina, the uterus (or womb), the fallopian tubes, and the ovaries. The function of the female reproductive system is produce eggs (ova),have sexual intercourse, protect and nourish the fertilized egg until it is fully developed give birthSexual reproduction couldn’t happen without the sexual organs called the gonads. The male reproductive system enables a man to have sexual intercourse and to fertilize ova (eggs) with sperm (male sex cells).
